I have two keyboards and two mice connected and working now. Here's one... here's the other...
The first set is a PS/2 Mouse and Keyboard and the second is a Verspoint RF USB keyboard and mouse combo with 100ft range. To test the range I'm actually typing this from about 60 feet away through 4 walls. Wow, no dropped characters, or spelling mistakes considering that I just typed that blind. Interestingly I get zero reception from the garden about 70 feet away and through an additional double glazed window. I was testing the Versapoint RF and can confirm that it works with Linux without me having to do anything at all to configure it. After googling and finding no examples of anyone else able to use the Versapoint I wan't expecting so little a fight! I'm using Gentoo so your experience may vary. Here's a Gento forum thread about it: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-2131143.html#2131143 I'm planning on using the Versapoint RF in my XBox Mythfrontend, since it only has USB. --- colliepon wrote: > To msherman at projectile > > Even a good svideo cable should be fine for just > 30ft.
