No, I'm saying playing a .nuv file back through the mpeg codex results in color correction problems and pixelation.I should be able to just rename the nuv to mpg and everything work. Sadly, this is not the case. The video quality playing back as an mpeg is terrible.
You're saying that the quality drops by changing the file extension??
