The VGA port will not have the interlace bug, you can make it work using the Audio authority.
Question... What's the interlace bug? I recently got 1080i working over DVI on my 6600GT. I have a lot of flickering that I can't get rid of (especially with white borders over dark backgrounds). Is this the interlace bug?
