In the contrib folder of CVS there is a myth.rebuilddatabase.pl or
something like that. You can pass "--ext avi" or some other extension
and it will prompt you for the database information it needs to import
the file, rename it, and prompt you to run the commflag program against
it to create the seektable. The only caveat is that the file must be
able to be played with the MythTV internal player.
Hmm. The files also have to have no spaces, and other such restrictions.
I'm wondering how hard it would be to make this script work with the xml
files from Replay/DVArchive, to pull the info it has already.
Did you try enclosing the filename in quotes? I'm not sure I ever tried
a file with spaces so I'm not sure if that would work or not. It's just
a perl script so I'm sure something could be worked out.
