Hi Robert,

If you will look at my article again, what I'm really trying to make work is 1920x1080i resolution in single head configuration. Like what I said in my article, 1920x1080 is working using twinview resolution. But watching programs does not work when using my single head configuration in 1920x1080 resolution. Regarding the line that you mentioned below about 720x480_v modeline, I just forgot to delete it. So once I delete that, we won't see that kind of message anymore. And if you also notice in my xorg.conf, I only have 1920x1080 resolution in my modes.

Hey guys, I've done some testing regarding the mystery I'm

comments are greatly appreciated...........

Not quite what you're looking for, but in all three of your logfiles,
you have:

(WW) NVIDIA(0): Not using mode "720x480_v":
(WW) NVIDIA(0): horizontal blanking width ((max(858,798) - min(720,736) =
(WW) NVIDIA(0): 138) not a multiple of 8
(WW) NVIDIA(0): horizontal sync width (798 - 736 = 62) not a multiple of 8
(WW) NVIDIA(0): horizontal frame length (858) not a multiple of 8

If you tweak the relevant values in the "720x480_v" modeline, you
ought to be able to get your 720x480p resolution working on your TV.
