hmm, I don't see anything about firmware being loaded. try setting up azap from the dvb-apps to try this outside of myth so you can see some slightly more helpful error messages. This should help with the steps for azap and the firmware http://www.pchdtv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=553 HTH, Eric
