How interesting.

My experience is just the opposite. I could never get an installation of FC2
working
well enough to even attempt MythTV, but FC3 came right up and installing and
trouble-shooting MythTV on FC3 was almost as easy as FC1, once Jarod got the
second version of his guide up. FC3 SHOULD have been harder than FC2, but it
wasn't. FC2 simply kicked my butt, and I admit it.

It's funny isn't it? We beat our heads against the wall trying to figure out
what went
wrong, then when we finally stumble upon the answer it turns out to be so
bleeding
obvious that we feel stupid.

But don't feel bad, I have never been able to use Knoppmyth either. I always
thought
that Knoppmyth was suposed to be the most painless way to get MythTV up and
running. Not so here, mate. It simply won't run on my hardware. I dunno, phases
of
the moon? I haven't tried the latest Knoppmyth.
