You idea of trying CVS to spot the breakage is the best way to go, I think. Use CVS and have minimal builds of 0.16 and 0.17 that exhibit the behavious you see. Then do a binary search, i.e. half the time between the two releases and checkout/build an interim version. If the breakage already happened do the same with the lower time intervall, otherwise use the higher one. After a couple of builds and tests you should be able to spot the commit that broke your system. Unfortunately builds take a while. Thanks! -- Axel.Thimm at ATrpms.net
