just as a note.. i could never get my 350 to work stable on a via
chipset.. i dont know if that's your problem but it did similar things to me

I've just experienced 2 hard locks with mythtv requiring me to remove
the power source from the machine. It happened after I had selected
Live TV waited for some minutes (between 10-20).
Nothing particular shows in the logs except from some apparently broken mysql:
Driver error was [2/1016]:
QMYSQL3: Unable to execute query
Database error was:
Can't open file: 'recordmatch.MYI'. (errno: 145)
So I've analyzed then recovered the DB.
mythconverg.recordmatch
warning : Table is marked as crashed
warning : 1 client is using or hasn't closed the table properly
error : Found 3 keys of 4
error : Corrupt
I am not sure what to do to investigate the issue. Any advice?
Some information about the system:
- I run the frontend with setuid bit set
- VIA Nehemiah/PVR350 (but no TV output)
- kernel 2.6.11 + unichrome
- XFree 4.4. + unichrome
- myth 0.17-3 + XvMC
- mplayer 1.0pre6 +XvMC
