but dvdauthor keeps complaining about

STAT: Processing test1.mpg...

I tried with and w/o replex and with and w/o the -k option to replex, no
difference. dvdauthor is 0.6.10. xine plays the resulting DVD very choppy,
so that apparently there is an issue with the sound.

Anybody seen such a message ? Is it a MythTV/PVR issue ? My recording
profile is set to MPEG-2 PS

I have seen messages like this. While trying to replex the result of the convoluted mencoder->avidemux->rebuild-b-frames->cut->export-mpeg2, replex spews out things like:

fixed video frame 1
fixed video frame 1

I'm beginning to think that the lossless mpeg2 cutting will have to be that, as well as an mpeg-equivalent of a time-base corrector. With broken streams coming from the capture card, it's tough to deal with them, unless they're fixed straight-away. Nothing seems to do that.
