There is no VBI information in Freeview broadcasts and Myth isn't
able to generate it so you're out of luck on that front.
What most set top boxes do is to use the aspect ratio information
in the MPEG stream to control pin 8 on the SCART which is the other
way of telling the TV what aspect ratio to use.
