What I have found is that it's far easier to keep up with a mail list like this one with a text based client like mutt than it is with even a good graphical client, like thunderbird, kmail, evolution, etc. Mutt (and probably pine as well) is an email machine. It can read mbox format mail boxes so you can probably get it to read your thunderbird mail folders without needing to convert or decide to use only one or the other. Aran
