I am running Gentoo and just added: post-install ivtv /usr/bin/ivtvctl -j reg=0x6c,val=0xfa -d /dev/video16&&/usr/bin/ivtvctl -j reg=0x2d,val=0x38 -d /dev/video16
To my /etc/modules.d/ivtv file. Works great now...
