>From what I understand ( i don't have an HDTV, so I might not be the best to listen to!), you can use the firewire output from your set top box to record the HD coming over cable (no need to worry about QAM) and use your PCHDTV 3000 card for OTA HD. Keep in mind that many set top boxes have a firewire output but they all aren't enabled. Search the mailing list to see if you can figure out if it is enabled or not.
