Hey John,

So, how much power does a box that is doing diddly-squat use?  I
sometimes get into arguments with the 'powers that be' that pay my
electricity bill about leaving my box on 24/7 and any ammunition I
have would be mighty useful. >:)

Perhaps if you could compare it to other household appliances, such as
VCR's or TV's on standby, fridges that run 24/7 etc etc.
