Yeah I know.. it's just so I can get a good idea of where PVRs currently are, and so I can learn how to build these things. If I'm impressed with the software and confident in my ability to build a good PVR, I'll buy better hardware. I'm thinking I can get multimedia cards that are good enough that the P2 will be sufficient. The brunt of the work should be on the mpeg4 encoder/decoder.
