Hi all, hi Greg,

Did you find out what's going on there? I've posted my problem to
-users a week ago without any answers:
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users/117940

I'm also on debian64 (myth 0.17+CVS) but I'm using DVB-t with kernel
2.6.11. It's definitelly not a problem with the capture card. It's
recording great and I can play the recorded mpeg2-nuvs with mplayer.
DVD and video playing is ok too. There are no error messages in the
back/frontend. Just black screen when I'm trying to watch my
recordings and also when I'm trying to watch LiveTV.
I have some old analog nuv files from my old bttv card in the
recordings list, I can't watch them too. So it's definitelly a problem
with the nuvplayer in mythtv.
I was using nVidia 5200 with 66xx drivers and switched to 77xx now
without success.

It looks like it's a problem with debian64. Everything was ok with my
"old" debian32 last month (on the same PC with the same recordigns).
I've already played with all the playback settings (audio buffer,
libmpeg2...) but nothing helps. One thing that sometimes work is
starting the frontend as root, this way I was able to watch a very few
files.
How can we find out what causes the freezes?

Hope someone can help me with this,

Adam
