True.

Any button simply labeled "reply", and not "reply to list" or "reply
to group" is a personal reply on most MUAs (including Outlook). The
reason clicking "reply" directs the message to [email protected]
is because the Reply-To field, which is for personal replies, has been
munged to contain the list address; effectively turning a personal
reply function into a list reply function, to compensate for those
MUAs lacking a list reply feature.

> So yes, just about every MUA has a list reply feature.

I doubt it. Certainly Outlook and Outlook Express do not have a list
reply feature. They only have personal reply (via the "Reply" button)
and group reply, and are not designed to account for mailing lists, or
have any knowledge of the Mail-Followup-To header. Hence the
haphazard hack of hijacking the Reply-To field to duplicate the
purpose of the Mail-Followup-To field.
