Our product is a whole house automation solution providing integration for
media, security, and telecom features functions. For the media integration we
have audio and video playback, pvr functionality, various AV equipment
integration, etc. We also have whole house audio and video functionality and
control, etc.

For the pvr functionality use MythTV because is one of the most featurefull and
user oriented open source projects in this field. We have a beta version of the
linux drivers for the blackbird design capture cards and we have adapted the
driver to be used in the current MythTV version (basically we are simulating
the IVTV api on those cards).

The whole project is open source and you can read the term and conditions on the
site (http://plutohome.com/support/index.php?section=document&docID=181).

Now for the cx88 drivers (the blackbird). You can see them in a couple of ways
(depending on what you want):
  - get the source from our public svn repositoruy ( mirrored daily from our
internal development repository).
    The url is here:
http://svn.plutohome.com/pluto/trunk/src/drivers/video4linux/
  - get the debian package compiled for our distribution and kernel (
2.6.10-1.i686)
    http://deb.plutohome.com/debian/dists/20dev/main/binary-i386/pluto-cx88*.deb
  - or install a pluto system with an cx88 card:
go to plutohome.com, register, create an installation and download a debian
kick start cd. This way you can see how we did the integration with MythTV and
the cx88 drivers. There is a lot of documentation also.
