I have created a MythTV system with a PVR-350 too. But I did not have a monitor on the final system only a TV and I wanted to be able of showing MPEG4 encoded recordings too. I tried making X work on the output of the PVR-350, but had to give up. I use the output of the FX5200 now and that works without problems.
