Yes, but it's not hard to do:
sudo /usr/bin/renice -5 `ps -e | grep mythfrontend | cut -f1 -d" "`
You can put that in a script that runs the frontend.
Why not just do:
nice -5 mythfrontend
to run it in the first place?
