Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I just add recording data to the record table and after that I execute
$ mythbackend --resched

So there isn't any data that informs backend that recording data has been changed?

Hi,

I would like to insert recording/scheduling data manually to the database using sql. I tried this but mythtv didn't start recording. I inserted data to the record table and to the recordmatch table. So I would like to know which tables include the recording data. Are there more tables which should be updated?

$ mythbackend --resched

This signals the master backend to re-run the scheduler from scratch and
will account for anything new or modified manually. You do not want to
touch recordmatch as the match phase of the scheduler takes care of this.
