Hi all.
I just upgraded to Myth from CVS (0.17.20050329-1) in order to try out the latest in commercial detection (I tried it in 0.16 but it didn't work very well)
Well ..... It doesn't seem to work very well. I'm not complaining, just wondering if I am doing something wrong. For example I have three shows recorded
24 (Sky1)
Desperate Housewives (Fianc�e) (E4)
Queer Eye for the Straight Guy <myth://192.168.0.3:6543/1010_20050330200000_20050330210000.nuv> (err, cough, Fianc�e) (Living TV)
All of them have been recorded from Sky, via SVideo to a PVR350, so the quality is reasonable
All three of them I have flagged for commercials. I have the detection method set to all, I have also tried turning strict detection off and on. Generally the breaks are detected well into the commercials, and again before the commericals have finished. With strict off, 24 was tripping in dark scenes in the show.
Anyone in the UK using detection with success? and if so, what channels! (and why?!)
