Justin,

I am also setting up my mythsystem based on FC3. I have similar
problems with ethernet. During booting, ethernet will not start, but
when I type ifconfig eth0 after booting, eth0 starts without any
problem. When I type network restart, the eth0 goes down without any
problems, but does not come up again. ifconfig eth0 starts it up
again...

I think this has something to do with the dyanically generated devices
(udev) in FC3.
