Suggestion for you. This could also be a great option to integrate into
the myth.rebuilddb.pl contrib script in the MythTV source. That script
allows you to import or rebuild the database for orphaned NUV files
where the database information has been lost. Your script could be
incorporated there to also allow you to pull the title/description
information from tvtome in cases where you no longer have that
information when rebuilding the DB.
