Ooops. Wrong pdf. Wrong file entirely. I should really check things more closely before I send them. Sorry about that.
This is the doc I wanted to post: http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_readme_install.html - the Nvidia Accelerated Linux Driver. The doc uses XF86, however, and I don't know how easily it translates into xorg. My guess is that as long as all the card's functions are working under xorg, configuring twinvew is just a matter af adding the right options to xorg.conf. This doc is on configuring twinview: http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-linux-e/2001-Jun/att-3012/01-TWINVIEW_README This is for the geforce 2 card, but I imagine the lines in xorg.conf are pretty much the same for other nvidia cards that support twinview. If you can get both screens running one at a time, you should be able to do them both at once, and at different resolutions. I got this working last summer using Knoppmyth R4V4 -- geforce 2 with a CRT monitor at 800x600 and S-video to TV through an S-video-RCA adapter at 640x480. I only kept the configuration while I was setting things up, so I don't know what the further configuration issues and/or performance issues are. _______________________________________________ mythtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
