I am using an nVidia FX5600 with 6629 drivers.

I did see something in the verbose startup of mythfrontend that I
don't remember seeing before I think it was "using SGI OpenGL"
In my nvidia-settings OpenGL vsync is turned off.

Were you able to fix it Tom?
