The easiest way seemed to be apt-get remove mythtv which removed almost the whole suite. I cleaned up what remaining theme rpms were still there and then reinstalled mythtv-suite, so it worked. However, I am curious what the bugs were from and why I get those errors in my log > Apr 11 12:24:28 localhost kernel: ivtv: DEC: couldnt read clock > Apr 11 12:24:38 localhost kernel: ivtv: 1000 ms time out waiting for firmware > Apr 11 12:24:38 localhost kernel: ivtv: Failed api call 0x00000015 > with result 0xfffffff0 > Apr 11 12:24:38 localhost kernel: ivtv: DEC: couldnt read clock > Apr 11 12:24:48 localhost kernel: ivtv: 1000 ms time out waiting for firmware > Apr 11 12:24:48 localhost kernel: ivtv: Failed api call 0x00000015 > with result 0xfffffff0 > Apr 11 12:24:48 localhost kernel: ivtv: DEC: couldnt read clock > Apr 11 12:24:58 localhost kernel: ivtv: 1000 ms time out waiting for firmware > Apr 11 12:24:58 localhost kernel: ivtv: Failed api call 0x00000015 > with result 0xfffffff0 > Apr 11 12:24:58 localhost kernel: ivtv: DEC: couldnt read clock > _______________________________________________ mythtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
