This is an issue primarily for people living in Europe as I think broadcasters do not use this approach anywhere else. Some shows are broadcasted with the original audio on one of the stereo leads, while the translated audio runs on the other. Of course this cancels all stereo sounds, but the shows in question are mostly sitcoms (simpsons, etc) or "live style shows" (desperate housewives, etc).
When I tried to record such a show it did not record any of the second audio program (does mythtv record only mono?) which is not what I expected.
Does anyone have an idea to get mythtv to record both audio signals?
