I'm trying to run mythname.pl which was in my
/usr/share/doc/mythtv-0.17/contrib/ directory. I can't seem to get it
to connect to the database. I'm using the right database name,
username and password (I know cos I checked it by logging into mysql)
but it gives me this error no matter what I try:
$ mythname.pl --user=xxxx --pass=xxxx --database=mythconverg /video/recordings/
DBI connect('database=mythconverg:host=127.0.0.1','xxxx',...) failed:
Access denied for user: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' (Using password: YES)
at /usr/local/bin/mythname.pl line 61
Cannot connect to database ()
Does anyone know what to do to get this to work?
