Huh, any issue with PVR 350? I use ivtv 0.2.* (latest stable).

Can you run a debugger on mythtv-backend when it locks?

I've got plenty of CPU power, should I just circumvent the decoder for
playback?  Do you need any other pertinent information?  For the time
being, I've found I can enter edit mode and skip commercials with no
problem, so I've made a remote mapping for the E key.
