i noticed this too. i recently installed VNC hoping that i could remotely create cutlists for the recordings i had. apparently this is not the case. :( i'll try creating a separate user for VNC as was suggested by Scott and see if that works. just out of curiousity, what are you using VNC for?

I probably can't answer this well at this point.
I planned to use the myth box without a monitor & keyboard.
I'm just taking things one step at a time. I thought vnc would be a good feature and ran into this issue.
I can use telnet for most things, but a GUI is nicer for some stuff.
