I'm trying to transcode some hd recordings with cutlists I made from within myth. I got transcoding (to mpeg4) settings l like, however the cuts in the resulting file aren't exactly the same as where I made them. ie. If I cut out a commercial, and watch the HD content non transcoded in mythfronted, I just get a few black frames at the commercial break for a transition. After transcoding I the cut starts at the right place, but I end up with 15-20 seconds of commercial.
I'm no expert on this stuff, but does this have to do with gop frames or anything like that? is the cutlist > transcoding from hdtv frame accurate? I've tried nuvexport as well but haven't gotten the settings correct or gotten nearly as nice of output compared to the transcoder built into myth.
