-I have wiped the machine and re-installed FC3.
-Can't install apt because "it is allready installed. "
-Can't remove apt because "it is allready installed". -Removed the APT folder and forced an install using the rpm from the
freshrpms site and still receive the errors.
Tried YUM and also received a 403 forbidden.

any help would be greatly appreciated. I am going to re-install FC3 for the third time and try apt without the atrpms-kiskcstart and see what happens

thanks
Brad

I think this is similar to what happened to me a while back. It seems that Axel has a guard on his site for bandwidth moochers, so if someone connects X times to download in a short amount of time, then him or his ISP will auto lock out your IP. In my case, it was a new setup as well, so I'm not exactly sure why I got blacklisted, but I did. Search the archives for an email from him, grab the email address, and ask him nicely explaining what happened. He removed me and I haven't been blacklisted again either.

Why this happens, I dunno. You're story sounds similar to mine (although I was using yum). I figure it has to be something that causes FC3 to fire off some huge number of connections for some reason right after installing the kickstart packages, although for the life of me I can't imagine where that bug would come from.
