I use it with my notebook and not my MythTV box (which has a wired connection), but I have an SMC2536W-AG: http://www.smc.com/index.cfm?event=viewProduct&localeCode=EN_USA&cid=94&scid=&pid=348 It was relatively easy to set up with the madwifi driver under Gentoo Linux. The SMC2512W-AG is the same card bundled with a PCI CardBus adapter. Its wireless performance is fairly decent, too. On a recent trip, it got a solid 11-Mb/s connection from my hotel room to the wireless LAN at another hotel about a mile away with just the built-in antenna (there's no provision for an external antenna).
