So what is everyone using for the IR receiver? The Xbox remote IR reciever or other aftermarket?

Anyone have any thoughts on the Microsoft Media remote?

Thanks,

The RCA universal code does work with the XBOX IR Receiver. I have
added additional codes beyond the xbox built-ins using LIRC and a JP1
remote control (RadioShack 2116 from memory). You can do almost
anything with a cheap ($20) JP1 remote control.
