I've got xine configured to do DVD and Video playback. Works like a charm. Except that when I exit xine and go back to the MythTV menus, select buttons have disappeared. At first glance, it looks like the menus are fine, but anything that requires either a cursor, or some button presses have gone wonky. For example, if you keep hitting the Back button to get to the point where you are asked if you want to exit Myth, the cursor to select Yes or No is gone, I cannot select either button.
Anyone seen this?
Yes, I have seen it <http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users/112126?#112126>, and I continue to see it. However, I have no idea what is causing it.
I also get this issue. From many threads, it seems to be window manager related, but I have tried fluxbox, evilwm, fvwm, wmi, but they all give the same results - unaccessable buttons after exiting xine.
This is alledgedly fixed in current Xine CVS. My cheap and nasty 'solution' to this issue is to set DVDPlayerCommand to:
xterm -e xine --no-splash -V xv -pfh --post=eq2:gamma=1.6,brightness=-.05\;tvtime:method=Greedy,enabled=1,pulldown=none,framerate_mode=half_top,judder_correction=1,use_progressive_frame_flag=1,chroma_filter=1,cheap_mode=0 dvd://
... The rest of it is because I'm running a projector with a gamma of 1.6ish and need deinterlacing. You can ignore all that if you want / don't have processor time.
Cheers,
Allan. _______________________________________________ mythtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
