Funnily enough, since I wrote the original message I did pretty much that! Now, because I didn't have mythbackend and was installing from RPMs I had to do "--nodeps" on my RPM to get it on there, but it seems to work like a champ. Now all I've got to do is go in and fiddle with Apache security... :)

I believe MythWeb gets the information about the backend IP, etc. from the DB directly.
