I'm having some problems setting up mythtv to work with NTL cable in the UK. I'm using the debian unstable packages of myth 0.17 for now, I'm planning to build 0.18 from source once I've got the basics working.
I've got a 4001 series digital box, which I'm feeding into the PVR350 via composite (for now, I'm hoping to get hold of a scart->svideo cable at some point).

The 4001 box doesn't do SVideo through SCART. You'll either have to use a RGB -> SVideo or some other trickery.
