My wife would like this feature, too. Another nice feature to have would be the bookmarks. Often we watch a movie and then stop to do something else, listen to music, etc. It would be nice, then, to return later to the movie and resume from the previous spot. Perhaps xine (which is the player I use currently) has a feature to do this already, but I haven't been able to find it.
