File size, mangled frames, the inablilty to use anything else but MythTV to view the recordings, random failures opening /dev/video0 resulting in missed recordings. I've run this box with a 878-based card, and a -250, all for thousands of hours without a hitch, so I'm fairly confident it's not the machine hardware, although that's not beyond reason, just unlikely. The file format is the things that gets me the most. It seems like we've backed into a proprietary MythTV format?
