There are more having those kind of problems, using DVB-C myself, file *.nuv says it's data, mpgtx can't handle it, avidemux can't handle it.
Nuvinfo says it's OK, nuvexport-dvd works, the resulting file I think will be readable with m$ mediaplayer, nuvexport-mpeg2cut also fails.
