Ah, I see now. The MFD architecture that thor is working on will do
this kind of thing but it is not part of the released codebase. Have
you looked at MythStream
(http://home.kabelfoon.nl/~moongies/streamtuned.html). I'm not sure how
much it is being updated but I think it does what you are looking for
