I won't recommend my Ubuntu Warty as a multimedia distro.
I've had to do almost everything by hand. No killerapps like mplayer or
mythtv belong to the multiverse, not even universe. Even necessary
programs like jstest and jscal were missing.
But it is rockstable and it never failed.
