To chime back in. I recorded coronation street last night, cable 6, on my "new improved" fedora core 3, mythsuite .18, latest ivtv drivers, and BOTH 1/2 hour episodes had NO sound.
With no other changes last night, the box successfully taped alias, lost, law and order etc (all on different channels (3, 8 ...)..)..ALL with sound. Next message I'll tell you the "versions" of both my 250 cards. My friend suggests I try different pci slots in my machine....
