I seem to have gotten past my problems with this unit by purchasing another. The first one is ready to become Skeet Fodder.
As I understand it, the nuv file is just a divx file in a nuv container. So, it should be a simple matter to convert it into a standard .avi file without the transcoding mess, and loss of quality. Right? If so, could someone please educate me how to do it? mplayer/mencoder doesn't handle the file.
