And that's your problem. You must use a window manager of some sort
when using any of the plugins that launch external apps. Try
something like ratpoison.
not really .. i used it fine without any wm ... only reason i switched
back to using fluxbox was so i could run an xterm in the background that
i could alt-tab to if/when i had problems and didn't want to run into my
office to ssh in
