I upgraded to the newest ivtv drivers using apt-get and when I run
dmesg it shows a PVR150 but the card is aPVR250. Anyone now how to
fix it. I upgraded because I was getting ivtv errors and it could not
record a whole show.
You need to patch IvyTV to recognize the PCI ID of your card.
Basically, post the problem description on IvyTV ML along with the
startup log messages and the results of running "lspci -v" and wait for
a fix.
You can get startup log messages with:
tac /var/log/messages |
sed -n '/=\ \ END INIT IVTV\ \ =/,/= START INIT IVTV =/p;
/= START INIT IVTV =/q' |
tac
