Thanks! What kind of TV do you have?
This is very wierd. I just took your settings to create a new config
for my machine and it appeared to work the first time I restarted X but
hasn't worked since then. I can't see any reason for it.
/var/log/Xorg.0.log shows it seems to be working:

Here's my modified config that appeared to work the one time. Any ideas
why I'd be seeing this bizarre behavior?
