Just wanted to thank you personally for this bit of advice.  None of
the guides I was looking at mentioned it, and I had got as far as
creating my logical partitions before I remembered it and went back
and recreated the volume group.

Four HOURS of copying video later, I have a nice new 400GB "partition".

 Disk Usage:

    * Total Space: 404,035 MB
    * Space Used: 138,625 MB
    * Space Free: 265,410 MB


Oh yeah...now to get my new PVR150 working to fill it up.
